Nolan Robert Cosmetics At Valerie Joseph

Hawaii-born celebrity makeup artist Nolan Makaawaawa showcases his new cosmetic line, Nolan Robert Cosmetics, at Valerie Joseph Boutique in Ala Moana Center Aug. 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. He also will offer customers makeup tips on how to use his products and a 10 percent discount.
Makaawaawa, winner of Lifetime’s reality TV show Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist in December 2008, also is a Turbo Kick Boxing and hip-hop instructor and reportedly designed his cosmetics for the active women.
Fans also can meet Makaawaawa Aug. 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Fresh, a fashion benefit for Community Helping Schools at Rumours Nightclub in Ala Moana Hotel. The event, presented by the Valerie Joseph Boutique and P.I.N.C., will feature a fashion show, pupu buffet, dessert and candy bar, silent auction and music by Kaala Boys. Must be 21 and older to attend.
