Sephora Opens In Waikiki
Sephora opens its third store in Hawaii at Waikiki Shopping Plaza, offering more than 13,000 products from more than 20 brands, including Sephora’s own collection of makeup, skincare, tools, accessories, and bath and body products.
Other products available include makeup lines by Bare Escentuals, Benefit, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Tarina Tarantino, Temptu and tokidoki; skincare lines Bliss, Clarisonic, Kinerase, Murad, PerriconeMD Cosmeceuticals and Philosophy; fragrance offerings from Fracas, Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries, Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney; and specialty hair care lines such as HerCut, Living Proof, Oscar Blandi and Sultra.
In an effort to be “gorgeously green,” Sephora in Waikiki will use LED lighting on fixtures to reduce overall energy consumption, Sephora also is located at Ala Moana Center and Pearlridge.
Pandora Opens In Ala Moana Center
Valerie Yamashita, who has more than 18 years’ experience as a local retail owner, opens Hawaii’s first Pandora concept store in Ala Moana Center. After she began carrying Pandora in her first store Craft Flair in 2004, Yamashita expanded it to Jewel Flair in Ala Moana in 2008 and Ward Centre in May 2010. Pandora is known for its customizable charm bracelets with a selection of more than 800 handcrafted charms in sterling silver, 14K gold, gem-stones, glass, enamel and wood.
In addition to the charm bracelets, the Pandora concept store carries its entire collection of jewelry including its composable earring line, 18K Love Pod jewelry, Liquid Silver jewelry and the matching rings and necklaces of the Stories line.
