Think Pink At Windward Mall

Think pink at Windward Mall’s inaugural Paint the Mall Pink event Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Center Court.

In partnership with the American Cancer Society, Windward Mall will be transformed into an allpink shopping center. There will be pink decor, pink pins and gifts from participating merchants in return for donations, a “Pretty in Pink” photography booth, a survivors wall with stories and photos from cancer survivors, and prizes. There also will be a fall fashion show presented by ADR Modeling Agency, Hawaiian music and hula featuring Mihana Souza, performances by Anuhea and Mailani, Zumba and yoga demonstrations by 808 Zumba and Washington Fitness, and celebrity hosts Olena Heu of KHON2 News and Kaulana of Torch Entertainment. There also will be complimentary bra fittings at Macy’s, and exhibits by various community organizations, representatives from local hospitals and the healthcare community, as well as numerous information tables to educate the public about healthy living. Also, mall patrons wearing pink may be randomly selected by mall staff to receive a prize. No pink attire? Have no fear; a weekend-long sidewalk sale will feature many pink options to suit your personal style.
