Tory Burch Opens Ala Moana Boutique
Tory Burch opened at Ala Moana Center last Friday - the company’s 40th store - with a traditional Hawaiian blessing by kahu Kawika Kahiapo. The 3,100-square-foot boutique is the company’s first location in Hawaii and features the entire Tory Burch collection, including ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, eyewear, jewelry and small leather goods.
The decor of the boutique is inspired by chairman Tory Burch’s lifestyle concept and reflects the iconic style of the first Tory Burch flagship on Elizabeth Street in New York City, starting with her signature orange lacquer door.

Kahala Hotel Hosts Event & Bridal Show
The Kahala Hotel & Resort’s annual Event & Bridal Showcase returns Oct. 22 from 5 to 9 p.m., but this year also will feature services and amenities for holiday parties, anniversaries, birthdays and more.
Peruse themed party and wedding tents throughout the resort, including gowns and cultural and event clothing, or participate in free consultations with event planners, photographers, makeup artists, video-graphers, florists, linen providers and more. The popular wedding cake, reception menu and champagne tastings also will be available.
Guests can tour different sites located throughout the property, including the Kahala’s ballrooms and guest rooms. Individual sites will feature complete ceremony setup with floral arrangements, chairs and aisles; banquet setups; a pastry chef station and vendors that are key to the overall success of a dream wedding.
