3660 On the Rise is an award-winning restaurant with a reputation as one of the top places to eat in the city. With chef Russell Siu at the helm and an able team of sous chefs in the kitchen, the restaurant consistently turns out a menu that combines Pacific Rim/Asian flavors with classic French style, and has a wine list that offers some outstanding pairings. Dinner is pretty much a fine dining affair, and when 3660 hosts wine dinners, they sell out almost immediately.

Now the restaurant team has come up with an idea where Russell’s menus are offered once a month to a small group of wine/food enthusiasts.

The Chef’s Table begins on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and will continue once a month until further notice. The idea is to give customers the same kind of menus that Russell and his team put together for a wine dinner or special event - with a whopping 40 percent off the restaurant wine list.

“We’re always looking to do something a little different at 3660,” says manager Darryl Aoki, ” and the Chef’s Table gives our customers the chance to try the kind of dishes that Russell usually creates for exclusive events.”

The menus offer wine enthusiasts the opportunity to either pair their own wines with Russell’s food (you can bring your own with no corkage fee, once a month, on Wednesdays), or try recommendations from 3660’s wine list at 40 percent off the regular price. The four-course menus will feature dishes such as Crabmeat Croquette with Tomato Concasse and a Lemon Ginger Butter Sauce, Romaine Wrapped Wild Fillet of Salmon with a Black Caviar Sauce, Grilled Duck Breast, Lentils and Foie Gras, Fire Roasted Loin of Lamb topped with Grilled Red Peppers and Feta Cheese with Fingerling Potatoes, Pan Seared Scallop, Kahuku Corn and Crabmeat Custard with a Sherry Caramelized Shallot Sauce,Mousse of Foie Gras with a Truffle Red Wine Sauce and Fire Roasted Tenderloin of Beef, Ragout of Exotic Mushrooms, Asparagus and Pancetta and a Rosemary Sherry Demi Glaze.

The Chef’s Table dinners are limited to 15-20 people; $75 per person.For reservations,call 737-1177. www.3660.com
