Crab lover, rejoice! From June 3-30 Dixie Grill Barbeque and Crab Shack in Aiea welcomes the hungry to its annual Crab Fest.

The popular “Trash Can O’ Crab” is served daily, featuring a load of juicy garlic butter tossed king crab, steamed snow crab and soft shell crab, as well as Dixie’s crab cakes, all served in a trash can lid and a big ol’ roll of paper towels. It comes with fries, Kahuku corn and butter.

Daily chalkboard specials include soft shell crab po’ boy with creole roasted yellow pepper and caper aioli, topped with Mardi Gras slaw on Mondays. A crabby club with blue crab salad, lettuce, tomato, crisby bacon and avocado served on three slices of Texas toast is served on Tuesdays, and Wednesday’s guests can order soft shell crab and deep fried shrimp with fries, slaw and tartar sauce. Thursday’s special is Na’wlins BBQ crab and shrimp with garlic bread for dipping, and on Fridays enjoy Chesapeake Bay style crab basted in old bay and dry rub for spice, served with boiled red potatoes and grilled corn. Order up king crab boilers with a full pound of crab, parsely boiled red potatoes and grilled corn on Saturday and Sundays.
