Actor Garret Sato is back in Hawaii enjoying the holiday season with family and friends. On NBC’s medical drama ER, Garret guest stars as Detective Drummond. The episode, titled A House Divided, airs tonight. Check it out. His extensive credits include 24, Alias, Pearl Harbor and the new ABC comedy series In Case of Emergency starring Kelly Hu. The life of a working actor is tough, but Garret managed to maneuver his career quite well. He recently stopped by at Kathy Muller Talent Agency to talk to acting students. His candid talk about the business side of acting was well-received. Agency actors Edison Erorita, Anna Fernandez, Dezmond Gilla, Serena Karnagy, Lew Lappert and Nicole Pfeffer were in attendance. Jaeves Iha is a University of Hawaii student majoring in English and theatre arts. He’ll be on stage in the Kumu Kahua production of Living Pidgin by writer Lee Tonouchi. Serena Flores studied under started in grade school when she placed in a national video competition. She also graduated from the Leeward Community College’s TV production program. Most recently she produced Blindsided, directed by Chris Potts and starring Zero Kazama, Phillip Rios, Greg Juliano and

Hope Hiranaka. Serena loves the classic Gone With the Wind and the ‘80s flick Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. She’s currently working on the sequel to Blindsided, with which she’ll be making her directing debut. Stay tuned ...
