Marc Rapoza, owner of Sun Splash Tans on Kapahulu Avenue, has an uncanny eye for talent. I give him credit for discovering a few feature models for my Hawaiiwood column. Being located close to the Hawaii Film Studio by Diamond Head has its advantage. Lot of the talent working on North Shore were frequent visitors to the tanning salon. Now it’s the hit ABC series Lost that is utilizing the set. Marc’s been very supportive of the local film industry and sponsors many events. Want to get an awesome tan? Check out the website at www.sunsplashtans.com for more info … Gorgeous actress Danielle Diamond is a former Marine stationed at Kaneohe MCAS. The U.S. Marines are known to eat nails for breakfast, so to speak. I couldn’t imagine someone of her beauty as a Marine. Boy, was I mistaken, although I loved Demi Moore in G.I. Jane.
