Taylour Chang-Punahou, Brianne Castillo Huang-Iolani, Rusty Awana-Kamehameha, Jose Corpus-Kailua, Elliott Cost-Seabury Hall, Renato Fontaine-UH Lab School, Mark Ganialongo-Hawaii Baptist Academy, Andrew Kerekes-Mililani, Solomon Marchessault-Kalani, Ty Sanga-Saint Louis and Seong Kyu Whang-Farrington. The friendly competition among the filmmakers is definitely raising the bar higher every year. It’s great ... Actress Marisa Wahl recently made her debut on MTV’s NEXT reality show. She also wrapped on Who Killed Kailua Crabbe by Lew Lappert for the film festival circuit. While at Iolani School she wrote and directed numerous films. Marisa graduated with a degree from the cinema-television department of University of Southern California. Famous alumni directors include Ron Howard, George Lucas, Bryan Singer, John Singleton and Robert Zemeckis. Talk about great company. Marisa is now in post-production on a horror film shot entirely in Ohio. I think she’s ready for that mai tai just about now ...
