Chaminade Presents $100,000 Grant

The Chaminade University Educational Foundation presented a $100,000 grant to the President Mary Civille (Sue) Wesselkamper Endowed Scholarship fund. Celebrating the gift are (from left) Nicole Dupont, Bro. Robert Hoppe,Willibrord Tallet, Diane Peters-Nguyen, Gulab Watumull, Gay Miyakawa, Calvert Chipchase III, Karen Anderson, Kathleen Wo (Chaminade Board of Regents chairwoman) and Bro. Bernard Ploeger (Chaminade president).

Au Fong Honored By OCA Hawaii

Gov. Linda Lingle presents Market City Shopping Center vice president Sandra Au Fong with the Organization of Chinese Americans-Hawaii Chapter’s 2009 Community Leader of the Year Award. Fong was honored at the OCA Hawaii Chapter Banquet at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The Community Leader of the Year recognizes local business leaders who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of Hawaii’s community sectors.
