CPB Donates $5K To Red Cross

Central Pacific Bank’s vice chairman Dean Hirata (left) and community banking manager David Hudson recently presented Coralie Chun Matayoshi, chief executive officer of the Hawaii Red Cross, with a $5,000 donation as part of the nonprofit’s Corporate Partner Program.The donation will go toward helping the organization respond to disasters and assist families and individuals with food, clothing, shelter and crisis counseling.

Friends Of The Library Awarded $10K

Honolulu Board of Realtors president Sandra “Sam” Bangerter (left) recently awarded a $10,000 grant to Byrde Cestare, executive director of the Friends of the Library Hawaii. The grant will help support the Friends of the Library Hawaii’s mission to support Hawaii’s public libraries.
