A Convenient Donation

Hawaiian Humane Society recently received a $25,000 grant from ABC Stores. The funds will be used to reduce pet overpopulation through sterilizations and education. The grant will offset the nearly $320,000 the humane society is expected to spend this fiscal year on its sterilization program. The funding also will allow Hawaiian Humane Society to provide education on the importance of pet sterilization to schoolchildren, adopters and the public.
