Goodwill Receives $2O0,000 Grant

Goodwill Industries of Hawaii recently received the final installment of a $200,000 grant awarded by The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Inc. to be used toward supporting the construction of Goodwill’s new Ohana Career and Learning Center of Kapolei. Scheduled to open in early 2010, the center will assist residents of Leeward Oahu in developing vocational and professional skills through occupational skill training, pre-employment screening and more. SHA Presents Donation To AUW

Sacred Hearts Academy presented a check for $11,292.22 to the Aloha United Way. The girls earned the money by conducting a school bake sale and a casual dress day for faculty and students.The final fundraiser “Coins for a Cause” involved collecting coins in every classroom.
