Kraft And Don Quijote Fight Hunger

Wrapping up its Huddle to Fight Hunger program, Kraft Foods in Hawaii recently made a donation of $5,000 - the monetary equivalent of 35,000 meals - to Feeding America to secure food on behalf of Hawaii Foodbank. From Oct. 13 to Nov. 6, Don Quijote shoppers were able to make monetary donations at the registers. A $1 donation scored two meals for Hawaii’s hungry, and a $5 donation scored 12 meals. Don Quijote shoppers could donate nonperishable food items during food drives at the store’s five locations, which were hosted by Hawaii Foodbank.
