REHAB receives $90,000 from Louis Vuitton

Perry and Gary Okamoto (far right) of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation receive a $90,000 donation on behalf of Lois Vuitton Hawaii presented by Dale Ruff (third from right) and Sean Kim. The money will go toward helping the disabled to heal through art with the organization’s art program, which began in 1994.

UHM receives donation from McNeil Wilson

David McNeil (second from right) and David Wilson (third from left), founders of McNeil Wilson Communications, were honored by Dean Richard Dubanoski (left) Nathan Kam, chancellor Virginia Hinshaw and Amy Hennessey for a $35,000 donation made to the University of Hawaii Foundation. The funds will go toward establishing an endowed scholarship for the School of Communications.

Downtown recycling program

They were two of 20 volunteers from the marketing group participating with volunteers from Honolulu. About 4,000 HI-5 containers were collected, with all the proceeds going to Central Middle School’s English Language Learners.
