Brown Bags Gets A Boost

Rotary Club Supports Students

This past June at the Rotary Club of Ala Moana’s annual Crabfest fundraiser, the club donated $11,000 to Kapiolani Community College in support of KCC scholarships and Rotary community and international projects. Advancing Communication Technology

The UH-Manoa College of Engineering’s Hawai’i Center for Advanced Communications has received a $1.14 million research grant from the U.S. Office of Naval Research to improve reliability of military radar and wireless communications in diverse and challenging environments. The project is a collaborative effort with the SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific in San Diego. Pictured are Professor Zhengqing Yun (right) with faculty and staff.
