Salvation Army Receives $90K

Jenai S.Wall, Foodland chairwoman and CEO, presents a $90,521.52 check to Edward Hill, divisional commander of The Salvation Army, at Foodland Market City. Foodland’s customers donated the funds at checkout stands during the holidays to help feed Hawaii’s hungry.

Senior Center Receives $10K Donation

Stella Wong (second from left) of Catholic Charities of Hawaii receives a $10,000 check from Carol Sato, Russ Barbour and Christine Go of Humana of Hawaii during the Lanakila Senior Center Christmas party. The money was raised to keep the senior center open, since funding had recently dried up.
