Sen. Baker Recognized for Cancer Control Efforts

State Sen. Roslyn Baker was recently presented with the Exemplary State Elected Official Comprehensive Cancer Control Award by former President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush. Baker’s work in cancer control includes successfully championing of Hawaii becoming a smoke-free state. As a 31-year cancer survivor herself, she has been an advocate for health care.
