Former San Francisco 49ers’ Jesse Sapolu and Eric Wright outmuscle the radio team of Frank B. Shaner and John Aeto in a June 30 cooking competition at Flavors of Honolulu. The gridiron gang won 4-to-1 with their dish, which had to incorporate shrimp (the “mystery ingredient”) and Mauna Loa macadamia nuts. Pictured from left are Shaner, Aeto, Wright and Sapolu.
