A Home Of Hope For Cancer Patients

The Clarence T. C. Ching Foundation presents $3.5 million to the American Cancer Society Hawaii Pacific. The gift will launch a $15.5 million capital campaign to build the first ever Hope Lodge in Hawaii. The American Cancer Society’s Clarence T.C. Ching Hope Lodge will be a free, “home away from home” for cancer patients traveling to Honolulu for cancer treatment. Supporting High School Athletics

The folks at Kraft Foods and Times Supermarkets were able to raise $250,000 for Hawaii’s High School Athletic Programs through their annual Shop & Score fundraiser. In these lean times, school athletic directors say the program is a real lifesaver.
