Toyota donates $51k

(from left) Henry Miyamura, Karen Tessier, Selena Ching, Rick Ching, Loretta Yajima and Glenn Inouye hold three $17,000 checks from Toyota that will go to the Hawaii Youth Symphony, Prevent Children Abuse Hawaii and Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center non-profits during the company’s 50 Days of Giving program.

Frear Scholorship To Be Set Up

(from left) Donna Vuchinich, Karen Lee, Katherine Anderson, Francisco Hernandez, Paula Boyce, Sharon McPhee and Virginia Hinshaw hold a $750,000 donation to the University of Hawaii in memory of Walter Francis Frear and Mary Dillingham Frear. The funds will be used to establish a scholarship to assist students systemwide.
