Newly formed Windward side U8 girls soccer team recently won the U.S. Youth President’s Cup tournament at Waipio Soccer Complex. MCC Receives Business Award
The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) recently announced that Moiliili Community Center has been selected for the 2010 Best of Business Award in the Community Center category in Honolulu. Moiliili Community Center is a private, nonprofit agency organized to serve the needs of all ages. It traces its origin to 1902, when it began as a Japanese Language School, later evolving into a community association and then a multi-service center. MCC’s mission of “enriching our lives and our community” is realized through the implementation of quality programs: Children and Families, Japanese Language School, Moiliili Senior Center, Adult Leisure Classes, Kupuna Support Services and Thrift Shop located in East Honolulu. JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa is a recipient of the prestigious 2011 AAA Four Diamond award from AAA Hawaii, which marks its 11th consecutive year and 14th consecutive year for the resort’s signature Azul Restaurant.
