(from left) Antony Nghi, Jazzlyn Pasion-Saflor, Raymond Berdon, Benhie Baclig, Rowena Dela Cruz, Linda Leifi and Chezlani Crystal Lee of the Boys and Girls Club Hawaii are honored at a special luncheon for the club’s Youth of the Year competition. Pasion-Saflor was the overall winner and was presented with the Macy’s Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii Youth of the Year Perpetual Trophy.
UH Education Profs Take First Place
Brian E. Lawton (left), Val Krohn-Ching and Paul R. Brown of the College of Education’s Curriculum Research and Development Group at UH-Manoa won first place in Division H of the Outstanding Publications Competition from the American Educational Research Association with their entry, Evaluation of the Final Year of the ARTS FIRST Windward Research Project.
