YWCA Receives $5K

(from left) Alaynna Miguel, Teri Fabry, Beverly Ament and Mitchell Noguchi of The Underwriters Association of Hawaii raised $5,000 during their recent annual charity golf tournament. The check was presented to the YWCA for restoration of the historic Richards Street building.

UH Doctor Honored For New Scholarship

Dr. Nan-Yao Su (right) was honored as the Distinguished Alumnus at the UH Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources centennial celebration dinner. Dean and director of the College of Tropical Agriculture Andy Hashimoto presented Dr. Su with the award for donating $35,000 for a new endowed scholarship.
