IN OTHER Boyd Gaming news, there’s still time to say goodbye to the Stardust. It’s scheduled to officially close Nov. 1 with plans to demolish the local favorite next year. The company plans to open its first mega-resort this side of the Mississippi, Echelon Place, by mid-2010.

IN FRONT of the Stardust is a billboard that says “$100,000 Real Cash” with an arrow pointing to a plexiglass box containing a stripper’s dream, 100,000 $1 bills. Sports Book.com erected the billboard on Sept. 1, and on Sept. 6 someone broke in and stole $30,000 ... say it with me, duh.
