Monty Python's SPAMALOT at Wynn Las Vegas

WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!

WHERE DO they find those lucky $20s? In my last column you found out about the guy who won $5 million after putting $20 in the machine ...

Andrew So won the $293,489.21 progressive jackpot with $20

progressive jackpot with $20

Andrew So had been playing the QuarterMillion$ machine at the Primm Valley Casino for about 20 minutes when he decided to switch to the machine right next to him, where he hit the progressive jackpot for $293,489.21. Not bad when you consider he only put $20 in the quarter machine.

BY NOW you’ve heard of Britney Spears’ passing out, err ahh, fainting, err ahh, falling asleep (depending on who you listen to) at her $300,000 all-expense-paid New Year’s Eve gig in Vegas. The irony of this is that after the initial shock most of us would not be able to pass out/faint/fall asleep if someone paid us $300K for six hours’ work!

THE SOCIETY of Seven & Lani Misalucha will continue their antics at the Flamingo Las Vegas. They also got props from hotel president Don Marrandino, who said, “The S.O.S. and Lani have become a special part of the Flamingo family, and we are pleased that they will be with us for another year.” See what they’ve been up to on this week’s Kimo’s Vegas on OC16.

ON THE Big Island, a company called Kona Blue makes Kona Kampachi, a sushi-grade fish that can be prepared in many different ways. It’s the first farm-raised, hatch-to-harvest fish in the history of the U.S. It’s so ono they are serving it at Caesars and The Wynn Las Vegas. Lucky you live Hawaii because we can get it at any Whole Foods Market ... OK, that’s not as much fun as a trip to Vegas.
