IT’S OFFICIAL ... Cirque Du Soleil’s sixth Vegas show will be based at the Luxor and star magician Cris Angel. Rumors persist that the pyramid-shaped hotel/casino will get a name change by the time the new show opens next summer. “Pyramid,” “triangle” and “shapes” are some of the creative names tossed around ... what about “isosceles” or “polyhedron”? The company recently celebrated the 4,000th performance of O, its first Las Vegas show.

WHEN THE MGM Grand City Center opens in 2009, look for a Cirque Elvis production. If it’s anything like Beatles Love,it’ll be a lock with show-goers.

ACCORDING TO Morgan Quitno Press, a private research and publishing company specializing in state and city reference books, the most dangerous states are (No. 3) New Mexico, (No. 2) Louisiana and, for the fourth year in a row, Nevada is No. 1. In case you were wondering, the Aloha State drops a position and comes in at No. 26.
