Welcome to Kimo’s Vegas! This week on Sports Radio KKEA 1420-AM we’ll be talking with Wolfgang Puck’s partner and executive Chef of Trattoria Del Lupo in the Mandalay Bay. Why is the food so reasonable and the service so great? How can you learn to cook like Puck? Listen in Thursday at am and again on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Wanna be seen in Vegas? Then be at Ivan Kane’s Forty Duce at the Mandalay — they’re hosting photographers and modeling agencies every night.

Colin Quinn

Nicolas Cage is in Vegas for the Cine Vegas Festival, and did you know his uncle is Francis Ford Coppola? His birth name is Nicolas Kim Coppola. He’s right — Nic Cage is way cooler.

Feelin’ lucky? Next week check out the $100,000 Let it Ride tournament at the Las Vegas Hilton! If you win, MidWeek Publisher Ron Nagasawa and I will personally help you count the money (one for you, two for us… two for you three for us…)!

Seen at the Cal, Herman Keolanui (who won $16,000) and George Fernandez (who won $6,000). Eh, you guys need help counting or what?

If you like paying for yours (for a good cause of course), check out the Adam & Eve Bachelor and ‘ette Auction July 20 at the Voodoo Lounge. All proceeds go to the New Vista Community.

Sarah Harding

You ever watch a TV show and wonder what they were thinking — why would anyone watch that (insert expletive here)? Well now you can play Program Director at the CBS Television City Research Center (near the end of Studio Walk in the MGM Grand). It’s free and the screenings are ongoing from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It’s a fun way to get out of the casino for a couple of hours as you watch pilots (shows that have not aired) and then tell the networks what you think.

The Hollywood Comedy Tour with Colin Quinn (from Saturday Night Live) and Al Madrigal (from Comedy Central) yuk it up at the Palms Hotel & Casino on July 9.

Congrats to Punahou grad, Stanford All- American and 2004 Miss Fitness USA Sarah Harding on her marriage to Matt Traverso (here in Hawaii) and on her gig at Cirque du Soleil’s KA!

Who’s better at poker, a celebrity or a poker pro? If the winner of Game Show Network’s (on Oceanic Cable) Poker Royal: Celebrities vs. The Pro’s is any indication, the winner is … celebrities.

Patrick Warburton (from ABC’s Less Than Perfect) beat out Kathy Liebert, one of the top 20 poker players in the world, to win the tournament and $50,000. Now if we can only settle who’s smarter, a man or an ironing board.

Carmen Electra does a one night stand at the TI’s Tangerine on July 1 in celebration of the nightclub’s first b’day.

Came across an old Las Vegas gamblers proverb… “I hope I break even this week, I need the money”!

Eunice Delo Santos won tickets to see the Fab Four. Email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (or mail us at MidWeek) to enter the weekly drawings. Send us your Vegas pictures too!
