Publishing and Broadcasting Limited (PBL) is the Australian company that was founded by the late Kerry Packer, the Vegas high-rolling whale who would play up to $40 million on one trip to the MGM. It makes his company’s $22 million investment seem a little manini.

WILL FERRELL, Kevin James, Chris Tucker, Gabrielle Union and many others joined Bon Jovi for Tiger Jam X, raising more than $1.5 million for the Tiger Woods Foundation. In addition to the concert, the rich and famous bid on auctions that included a putting lesson with Tiger for $95,000, a trip to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing for $125,000,lunch with Bon Jovi went for $64,000 and a Tiger Woods autographed Buick Enclave was sold for $50,000.

MARK NOORZAI, president of The Las Vegas Sports & Entertainment Group, says Vegas is ready for an MLS expansion team. In addition to the $35 million expansion fee, they are prepared to build a $500 million retractable-roof stadium, practice fields and other amenities on 200 acres of land.
