Patrice Hollis

THE SEPTEMBER issue of Playboy magazine has a feature called “Teller Speaks,” where the silent half of Penn & Teller (the magical duo at the Rio) talks about his childhood, his magic partner (Penn) and more. If you already knew that because you read the articles first, check out (Las Vegas) hometown honey Patrice Hollis, Miss September.

CELEBRATING the one-year anniversary of the Vegas Bunny hutch, the November issue features a spread called “The Girls of the Playboy Club, Las Vegas.” Look for bunny dealer Lindsey Roeper on the cover.

LABOR DAY brings a busy weekend to Las Vegas ... look for Kid Rock at the MOON nightclub of the Palms, Britney Spears at the grand opening of Noir Bar and LAX at the Luxor, Friday Aug. 31, and Playmate Jenny McCarthy hosts the party at Pure. The stars will come out again for the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon at the South Point, and can be seen here in Hawaii Sept. 2 and 3 on KITV.

DID YA HEAR about the Las Vegas casino consultant who got busted rigging poker games? Steve Forte wrote the casino bible on cheating. He was arrested by the New Jersey State Police in a private hotel room with three other men. In their possession: high-tech cheating equipment, including small video cameras, earpiece radio receivers and computer equipment ... guess the cops read his book too.

The game is free, and there are 50 instant winners every day and several grand prizes, including a trip to Vegas, hotel, show tickets and $1,000 cash.
