Casino bosses were scratching their heads because it was an unusually large bet on a school like Toledo. The casino hired a consultant, and later turned their findings over to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, who informed the FBI — who later busted a gambler and a Toledo player who conspired to rig the Ohio school’s basketball and football games.
