CELINE performed 717 shows in A New Day‘s almost five-year run at Caesars, making her the second- longest-running Las Vegas shows. Maintaining his title as King of Sin City gigs is Elvis Presley with 837.
BETTE MIDLER has some huge shoes to fill ... Celine Dion’s A New Day has grossed more (in ticket sales) than all the other top 10 shows combined!
MAYBE THAT’S WHY Caesar’s Palace has increased its table lim- its so Blackjack players can bet $25,000 per hand (up from $10,000), crap shooters can drop $50,000 on any line bet (up from $5,000) and $10,000 on the hard- ways (up from $500).

OR MAYBE they needed money to pay for the 17 criminal misdemeanor citations they received for improper remodeling at the Rio and Harrah’s. Four citations went to the Rio, and Harrahs had an unlucky 13.Another citation went to a company-owned warehouse that oversaw all the remodeling.
