THE CHINESE New Year menu at Chinois (pronounced Shin-wa) in the Caesars Forum Shops has been announced by Kaiser grad Terence Fong, and the entres sound almost too ono to eat - Sauted Black Tiger Prawns with Asian Black Bean Butter, Egg Noodles and Fried Chinese Long Beans, or try Whole Sizzling Striped Bass with Chinois Firecracker Sauce, Lemongrass Jasmine Rice and Sauted Bok Choy. For meat lovers, check out the Seared Wagyu “Miyazaki” Kobe Beef with Roasted Garlic Potato Mash, Asparagus and Spicy Hoisin Barbecue Sauce. For dessert, try his Fried Sesame Crusted Sushi Rice with Coconut and Lotus Paste, Fresh Fruit and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
NEXT WEEK look for the debut of Evil Knievel at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. The tribute commemorates the 40th anniversary of his historic Dec. 31, 1967 motorcycle jump over the Caesars Palace fountains. His wax-mates are race drivers Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and his son Dale Jr.

$2.50 was the biggest payout in the newest casino in Las Vegas. Last Tuesday, Station Casinos opened its unnamed trailer casino ... a 40-by-10-foot trailer with 16 slot machines, a casino floor manager and a porta-toilet outside. There was lotsa parking on the vacant 26-acre lot that used to be The Castaways. State law requires a casino to be open for eight hours, once every two hours, to keep its gaming license and grandfathered zoning rights from expiring.
TONY DANZA fans ... your last chance to see The Producers at Paris Las Vegas is Feb. 9. The show is joining other Broadway shows that didn’t stand the test of time in the desert including Avenue Q, Hairspray, We Will Rock You and Forever Plaid.
