WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!

CHER FANS ARE celebrating the diva’s un-retirement. The singer, songwriter, author, actress and entertainer has agreed to a three-year, 200-show Vegas run that begins May 6. Having sold more than 100 million records worldwide, she’s had more than 34 hits and even won an Academy Award. Subscribing to the notion that two headliners are better than one so three must certainly be a lock, Caesars Palace execs are hoping to repeat Celine Dion’s sold-out performances (that helped keep rooms full, restaurants filled and the casino profitable) by adding Cher to the Bette Midler-Elton John mix.

A FEW MONTHS AGO on these pages we talked about an exclusive watch designed for slot machine lovers (with huge bank accounts). The one-of-a-kind Girard-Perregaux watch features a builtin miniature mechanical slot machine that chimes when one of the 25 jackpots is hit. The vintage 1945 Jackpot Tourbillion (named after its case style) sold at the Wynn Las Vegas for $625,000 (and there’s a waiting list to buy more).Get more details and see a picture of this tribute to the art of watch-making at www.KimosVegas.com

THERE GOES the stud farm ... Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss was busted in Pahrump on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of narcotics and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Prostitution is legal in Pahrump, but felons are not eligible for a license.

THE FREMONT has been on a huge winning streak (or is that a losing streak?) ... first one car then another less than a month later, followed by a $30,000 Pai Gow hit.Last week the $1 Wheel of Fortune made TV producer Robert Alan Harshbarger of Anaheim, Calif., an instant millionaire. Stopping at the machine to kill time, he said,“I had no idea I’d won so much, I thought I’d won just $500, but I won the big one!”... why do all the big winners say that?

JUST IN TIME for the Presidents Day weekend ... the owners of the Monte Carlo, MGM Mirage, have announced the reopening of the hotel that we’ve all seen ablaze. On Friday, Feb. 15 at least 1,200 rooms will be available and another 1,300 rooms should be open by Feb. 22. The remaining 500 rooms that were damaged by water, smoke and fire are being renovated and will open later.

THE GRAND OPENING of the Hawaiian Tropic Zone (at the Planet Hollywood, Miracle Mile Shops) had celebs Carmen Electra (actress), Stacey Keibler (WWF), Reggie Bush (NFL),Robin Leach and locals Phyllis Kihara, Myra Rabanal, Arlene Iwamoto and Lee Hacohen groovin’ to the sounds of local Hawaiian exotica band, Don Tiki. To book the band, buy its CDs or join the mania, go to www.dontiki.com

KIMO’S VEGAS TIP: Call your uncle, auntie, cousin, brother, sister or Vegas friend because Cirque du Soleil’s KA is offering a 50 percent off the regular ticket prices ($99 and $125) for the first 50 tickets to each Wednesday show. The deal is good through April 12, but only locals (Nevada residents) can buy the discounted seats. Call the KA box office and tell them you like da “LOCAL” discount.
