AFTER TRAINING dolphins and researching humpback whales in Hawaii, Yasmin Tajik is now the Wynn Las Vegas Lobster Lady, responsible for the hotel’s warehouse in the desert that’s home for a week to about 2,000 crustaceans. Lobster factoids ... a six-pound lobster is about 30 years old; at the Wynn a lobster tail will set you back between $48 and $120 (depending on the size, preparation and eatery) and they serve about 4,000 Maine and spiny lobster tails a month.
THE WYNN Las Vegas, Encore Suites will premiere in December. Included in the new tower are five new restaurants, 11 retail outlets, seven bars and lounges, an ultra-chic nightclub, a European-inspired pool area and 2,034 suites.

THE SHOSHONE-Bannock tribe in Fort Hall is working on a partnership with other tribes nationwide to purchase land on the Las Vegas Strip using profits from their current casinos. This ould be the first Native American-owned casino in the neon city.
