MEGABUCKS TRIVIA ... Jumbo progressive jackpots are usually paid off in 25 equal installments with the first payment of 1/25 made on the day you win. Most companies also give you the option of taking a one-time lump sum payment equal to 1/25 of the jackpot plus the annuity payment. IGT (the makers of the Megabucks slot machine) does not reveal the payment details, but every Megabucks winner so far has chosen the lump sum option. Imagine the look on the teller’s face when you deposit that check.
