COULD LADY GAGA be the next Vegas diva? George Maloof is reportedly courting the “poker face” singer as a headliner for the Palms after her recent gig at the hotel.

THE WORLD SERIES of Poker has announced next year’s events ... a total of 51 events spread over 51 days (get a link for the complete schedule at http://www.KimosVegas.com). The series starts May 27 with more tables than before (pending regulatory approval) to accommodate increased player demand. The 2010 $10,000 Texas Hold ‘em Tourney starts July 5, with the final nine pau by July 17 and the final table matches beginning in early November.


 

VIVA ELVIS, the new Cirque du Soleil show at Aria, was originally scheduled to open on The King’s birthday (Jan. 8), but has been postponed until Feb. 19 because of construction delays ... In the meantime, previews (the non-finalized show) will continue until Jan. 3.
