WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!

AFTER TWO YEARS and almost 180 shows, Bette Midler’s The Showgirl Must Go On took its final curtain last week at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Marie Osmond surprised the audience with some jokes, Gladys Knight sang The Way We Were, Celine Dion said Aloha via video and Jake Shimabukuro and Midler did a reprise of In My Life, the song they performed last December for Queen Elizabeth in Blackpool, England. In the audience were Paula Abdul, Wayne Newton, Rita Rudner and Las Vegas headliner Terry Fator.

TO CELEBRATE the second year of his show at the Mirage, Terry Fator will introduce a new character on Saturday, March 13. A MidWeek reader really enjoyed his show and wondered if his assistant, Taylor Makakoa Dew, is from Hawaii. The model, who dances Tahitian and hula, is a former Hawaii resident who now resides in Las Vegas. Get a link to see her RawVegas model of the month “G” rated video (that’s not for the faint of heart) at http://www.KimosVegas.com.

DID YOU KNOW ... The sum of all the numbers on a roulette wheel is 666? According to legend, the game’s inventor, Francois Blanc, made a pact with the devil for the secrets of roulette.
