Lady Gaga

WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!

LADY GAGA’S “The Monster Ball Tour” checks into the MGM Grand Garden Arena Aug. 13 ... Her singles Just Dance, Poker Face, Lovegame, Paparazzi and Bad Romance have sold more than 30 million copies worldwide. Promising outrageous costuming and never-before-seen stage effects, if the show is anything like her videos, concert goers will leave with something to talk about ...

THE HOUSE that Frank built ... The location of a reported liaison between John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, the resort where the actress spent her last weekend and the Rat Pack’s refuge from the paparazzi, the Cal Neva Lodge Casino, is seven out. Once owned by the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra, the hotel had a series of underground tunnels that were originally constructed to smuggle alcohol and later employed by guests wanting to avoid the public, press and FBI.

IN JUNE, a radiograph of Marilyn Monroe’s famous bust will be auctioned off at Planet Hollywood. Bring your plastic - the 1954 Xray is expected to go for at least $1,200. Other lots include Christopher Reeves’ Superman costume (cape, body suit and tights), Mel Gibson’s costume from Braveheart and the earrings Kate Winslet wore in Titanic.

FOR THE FIRST TIME in three years, gaming revenue was up double-digits, and it was also the largest single month increase since November 1999. This year, popular gambling weekends Chinese New Year and the Super Bowl were both in February, and this boosted the month 13.9 percent to $946.6 million. So far, “The Year of the Tiger” was not so lucky for baccarat players, who wagered more ($1.2 billion) and lost more ($205 million) at the tables.

‘The Hills’ star Heidi Montag at Liquid Pool

IN DECEMBER, fans of “that new casino smell” will be able to satisfy their craving between the Bellagio and MGM’s City Center at the $3.9 billion Cosmopolitan. The resort will have 13 restaurants, a spa, nightclub, convention facilities and shopping.

POOL SEASON in Vegas is officially here, and every Strip hotel worth its chlorine has a celebrity wearing SPF250 and a suit that would make Heim & Reard blush. The headline “Heidi Montag reveals her new body at Liquid Pool at Aria” was no exception.

Gregoria Oroc of Kekaha won $7,000 at the Fremont

Eyewitnesses report that The Hills star’s new developments were well-received by patrons.

LAST WEEK more than 85,000 broadcasters were unleashed in Las Vegas. The annual National Association of Broadcasters convention is expected to generate more than $133 million - not including dollars spent on gaming and Sin City’s illicit offerings.

DO UNTO OTHERS ...

At the NAB show, Conan O’Brien announced that he would be doing to George Lopez on TBS what Jay Leno did to him on NBC. Network executives say the difference is that Lopez signed off on the change. At the Harvard grad’s ex-network, Rickey Minor (the band leader from American Idol) is replacing the Tonight Show‘s outgoing music director Kevin Eubanks.

THE WINNING continues at the Fremont ... Yvonne Yamasaki of Pearl City collected $4,171 and Gregoria Oroc of Kekaha won $7,000.
