Cirque du Soleil has a Michael Jackson tribute in the works

The Canadian company that got its name while founder Guy Laliberte was in Hawaii will debut its Vegas tribute at a MGM Mirage property next year. Its eighth Vegas production promises to be the most expensive and elaborate in the company’s history, surpassing the $220 million they invested in KA!

TWENTY-SEVEN-YEAR-OLD Daniel Tzvetkoff was arrested by the FBI in Las Vegas and charged with bank fraud, money laundering and processing illegal Internet gambling transactions. The founder of Intabill, a company that processed more than $500 million in transactions only to fail, owing players and online poker sites more than $80 million when the “Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act” was passed, could face up to 75 years in prison.

LAST SUMMER, the state of Hawaii passed a law that prevented gamblers from deducting losses from their winnings. The governor signed Act 165 last July, but was forced to reverse it to conform with the IRS code. The deduction is retroactive to January of last year.
