WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas ... the Player’s Edge!

RICK FAUGNO has sung My Eyes Adored You and every other Frankie Vali hit as the lead Las Vegas Jersey Boy for the last three-and-a-half years or make that five years if you factor the other productions he’s done. But now you can see him perform as Frankie at the Palazzo until Oct. 9 and as himself in Body & Soul at the Hilton’s Shimmer Cabaret. It’s stylized like an old school Vegas variety show ... Check it out Mondays at 8:30 p.m.

IF YOU’VE BROUGHT home your share of beef jerky, cinnamon bagel chips, trail mix and Krispy Kremes, consider Gigi’s Cupcakes. The nation’s largest cupcake franchise is opening its second Vegas location next month at the Plaza. Its signature swirl cupcakes come in more than 30 flavors and are baked on the premises every morning.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT‘s only American show is happening Oct. 28-30 at Caesars.

WANNA ROCK ‘N’ ROLL All Nite and Party Every Day? There’s caffeine for that. Gene Simmons blazes his ultimate rock ‘n’ roll marketing machine and KISS Nation into Las Vegas.

The KISS mini golf course opens at the Shoppes at Harmon Square in November and a KISS coffee shop is planned to open next year.

THE COSMOPOLITAN lost $54.3 million in the second quarter of this year. The good news is that it’s a little better than the $56.8 million it lost in the first quarter. The bad news: These guys are doing a better job than the guys running our country.

HEADS UP ... So far this year Bellagio (11 times in a row), Wynn (six) and Encore (three), Venetian (five) & Palazzo (three), Aria (twice), Sky Lofts at MGM Grand (four) have all made the AAA, Five Diamond list. If you’re looking for a five-diamond dining treat for your tummy, try Le Cirque & Picasso at Bellagio and Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand. The official and complete list of winners will be released in November.

IF MANAGEMENT gets its way, the troubled Harmon Tower will seven out via implosion joining its brethren the Aladdin, Dunes, Hacienda, Landmark, El Rancho, Sands, Stardust, Boardwalk, Castaways and New Frontier on the big Strip in the sky. This is the fastest and safest solution to protect visitors from the structure falling down from an earthquake.

THE REAL undisputed King of the Vegas Strip is Cirque du Soleil, producing more hit shows and selling more tickets than anything in the city’s history. Early next year, the Aria’s Viva Elvis will shut down temporarily for a makeover. It’s no secret that the show has not been as successful as its other MGM cousins, but 34 years after the King has left the planet is a long time.

KIMO’S VEGAS TIP: If you have a problem remembering what a 100 percent video poker pay table looks like, just look for a 10 to 1 payoff on the full house or carry the pay tables of your favorite machine in your wallet.

IT’S BAAAAAAACK ... Sign up for the Trop Plus Players Club and it’ll even the odds by giving you the first $200 you lose back! Like most deals in life there’s some fine print, and this one’s no exception, but it’s still a good deal even with its caveat emptor. Get the link to get even at KimosVegas.com.
