WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas ... the Player’s Edge!

DREAMS REALLY CAN come true ... KCCN FM100’s Prime Time Pipi and family got the VIP treatment from Make A Wish, visited Mickey and Minnie in the Magic Kingdom and met the man with the magic voice(s) Terry Fator. The Rezentes’s want to say happy holidays and mahalo to Sianna Austin Hunt and the staff at Make a Wish Hawaii, Lance Higa and folks at Hawaiian Airlines, Terry and Taylor Fator and everyone at the Terry Fator Show in the Mirage Las Vegas Hotel.

DID YOU KNOW Las Vegas has a law that limits number of pawn shops? Probably a good thing ...

ON JAN. 15, the CBS cameras roll into Vegas following Stephen Cloobeck, chairman of the Vegas-based timeshare company Diamond Resorts International. I wonder if they’re giving comp show tickets for watching Undercover Boss?

CAESARS IS OPENING its sixth hotel tower ahead of schedule ... The latest hotel-in-a-hotel and newest on the Strip is called Octavius. A room will cost a little more than one in the Roman or Centurion wings, or you can really pimp out and try a penthouse (there are three floors of ‘em) or one of its three villas.

VEGAS MATH ... Every time you’re in a Vegas hotel room, you’re in one of 150,425!

THE SOCIETY OF SEVEN kicks off 2012 with a pair of shows Jan. 21 and 22 at the Suncoast with a pair of stellar guests, Martin Nievera and Jasmine Trias. Get your tickets at any Suncoast Box Office.

HOW TIME FLIES ... Brad Pitt celebrated his 48th birthday in Vegas with Angelina and their six kids! Imagine the surprise on the faces of the patrons of Bonanza Gifts when mama Jolie stopped in to buy some Vegas chotskies.

THE FOUNTAINS at the Bellagio got some new moves over the holidays ... For the first time in six years it’s added three tunes to the fountain’s collection of 29 performances. Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, Glen Miller’s In the Mood and The Beatles’ Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds will be mixed randomly into the shows that run every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the day and time of day.

The public relations folks from the Cosmo wrote to say that not everyone who orders the waygu at STK gets to use the $15,000 knife featured here last week. It’s reserved for athletes, celebs and such ... probably a good idea ...
