STEVE WYNN has announced that construction of Encore - the sequel to the Wynn Las Vegas starts in the spring of next year. The $1.5 billion project will have 2,030 rooms, a separate pool, spa, garage, nightclub, restaurants and casino. Encore will be three stories taller with the same bronze facade and will face north.

THE LADY Luck closes Feb. 12 for a yearlong remodeling project ... while it’ll be good for us when it reopens, it’s bad news for the 684 employees who will be let go.
