WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas ... The Player’s Edge!

IT’S NO SECRET that the NFL wants nothing to do with Sin City. The NBA, however, has scheduled the 2007 All Star Game in Vegas. Among the few caveats in the deal: The casinos cannot accept any bets on the game. BY THE WAY, Krater 96 and OC16 are giving away Vegas trips every day until March 3. Watch OC16 for the song of the day weeknights between 8 and 9, then be the ninth person to call Wayne the following day when the song airs in the noon hour.

DID YOU HEAR that Sheldon Adelson, the founder and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands (the company that owns the Venetian), is selling a little of his personal stock in the company? After posting a historic 59 percent fourth quarter increase, he’s unloading almost 43 million shares, worth about $2 billion ... Don’t worry, after the sale he’ll still own 63 percent of the company’s stock.

THIS WEEK on Kimo’s Vegas we visit with author and gaming expert Basil Nestor, who helps players avoid sucker bets and more.
