John W. H. Au has earned his charter adviser for senior living designation from The American College. He is a chartered financial consultant with Chinen & Arinaga Financial Group.

Rob Solomon has been recognized by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International for his sales and marketing expertise. He is the senior vice president of sales and marketing of Outrigger Hotels and Resorts.

Lois Asato has been named representative for the Executive Women International. She is a sales manager with the Hawaii Convention Center.

Todd Bertka has been promoted to associate director of national sales for the Hawaii Convention Center. He will be responsible for assisting the director of national sales in coordinating the efforts of the regional sales managers in selling the Hawaii Convention Center space and building services.

David Allaire has retired as senior vice president of Hawaii operations of T S Restaurants. He will remain involved in the company as a partner of T S Restaurants in Hawaii and of the California Duke’s restaurants.

Kevin Chong has been named the chef de cuisine of Chef Mavro restaurant. He has worked as executive chef of Le Cirque in Mexico City.

Eric “Wolf” Levine has been named director of culinary operations for Tiki’s Grill and Bar. He will oversee all culinary staff and food production. Levine has over 20 years of restaurant management experience.

Bobbie Ma has joined Prudential Locations as sales manager and coach. Ma will be responsible for agent training, sales management, coaching, agent marketing strategies, recruiting, agent support and career development.

Cherylee Wai Jun Chang has been named to the board of directors to the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. Chang is the medical director of the Neurscience Institute and director of the Stroke Center at The Queen’s Medical Center.

Konrad Ikei has been named director of marketing for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. He has 14 years of marketing experience. He previously worked as vice president and creative services manager at City Bank.

April Lynne De Bina has been named management executive for Hawaiiana Management Company. She previously worked for Metropolitan Management, where she assisted with responsibilities for 15 properties.

Craig Richter has been named management executive for Hawaiiana Management. He previously worked in management at the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts.

Donna L. Ching has joined the office of Leo A Daly as director of development. She will be responsible for market analysis and managing the firm’s presence in the Pacific Region.

Alton Ohira has been named a partner of KMH. Oshiro will continue his focus on Hawaii’s insurance and healthcare industries with a specific focus on the burgeoning captive insurance market. He previously worked for KPMG for 25 years as a partner in the consulting and assurances practices.

Alfred B. Fernandez has been named a partner of KMH. He will be the partner-incharge of tax consulting services.

Sterling Yee has been elected to the La Pietra Board of Trustees for a three-year term. He is the auditor for Hawaiian Electric Company.

Stephen G. Tom has been appointed executive director of the Pacific Telecommunications Council. Tom’s past employment includes working as the president of Teleport Consulting Group International.
