Neil Char has been named senior vice president and branch manager for the University branch of First Hawaiian Bank. With more than 13 years of banking experience in Hawaii, he joined First Hawaiian Bank in 2001 as a corporate banking officer.
Robert Heberer has been appointed senior vice president for First Hawaiian Bank in the Credit Administration Department. He has been with First Hawaiian Bank since 1974 as a commercial loan officer and was promoted to vice president in 1976.
Gregory Sitar has been promoted to senior vice president and area manager for First Hawaiian Bank, Pearlridge branch. Sitar has held various positions within the bank prior to his promotion, including loan representative and branch manager at Waipahu, Moanalua and Mililani branches.
Vernon Wong has been named senior vice president and manager, Private Wealth Management for First Hawaiian Bank. He’s been with the bank since 2005, and was previously field vice president with American Express Financial Advisors, Hawaii.
Kevin Cronin has been appointed chief election officer for the state of Hawaii. With more than 30 years of government experience, he most recently served as assistant general counsel for the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. Cronin also is an attorney licensed to practice both in Hawaii and Wisconsin.
Peter Hughes has been promoted to clinical manager for AirMed Hawaii, Hawaii’s only accredited air ambulance service. Hughes will be responsible for the coordination and management of all care related to AirMed throughout the state of Hawaii.
