Madeline Duffey has been promoted to human resources manager for Accuity LLP. Duffey has 11 years’ experience working in human resources. In her new position, she will supervise the human resources department, including payroll, benefits, training and HR systems.
Michelle Gibson has been appointed assurance supervisor for Accuity LLP. Gibson will oversee audit services to major clients in the hospitality, higher education and real estate industries. She has four years of assurance experience with the firm.
Ariel Pascual has been named project engineer in House Construction for Castle & Cooke Hawaii Inc. Pascual will assist superintendents and manage purchasing, pre-construction planning, estimating and contract management. His prior experience includes serving as project manager for Commercial Sheet Metal, Takano Nakamura Landscaping and Quality Sheet Metal.
Geraldine Robles has been promoted to lead clinical educator for AirMed Hawaii. Robles will be responsible for designing and conducting monthly in-services on new policies, equipment and clinical situations for AirMed’s team of paramedics and registered nurses.
Michelle Lavata has been hired as assistant vice president - campaign for Aloha United Way. Lovata has a background in political science and has worked for Sen. Daniel Akaka in Washington, D.C. In her new position she will be responsible for providing assistance with the annual fundraising campaign.
Wayne J. Anderson has been appointed senior vice president and credit review manager for Bank of Hawaii’s Credit Review/Internal Audit Department. Prior to joining the bank, he served as credit review manager for Greater Bay Bancorp in Palo Alto, Calif. In his new position, Anderson will manage the credit review team and report on credit risk issues and trends.
Sherrie Au has been named Realtor/associate for the Century 21 Lewis Real Estate sales team. Au has 23 years’experience in executive sales, marketing and client services. She previously served as producer of the television show Connecting Point and was associate producer of Hawaii Stars for many years.
Kevin Lau has been hired as Realtor/associate for the Century 21 Lewis Real Estate sales team. Prior to joining Century 21, Lau was the owner of the former Patty’s Chinese Kitchen for 21 years.
Jesse Freyhas been appointed market area engineer for the Waimanalo Gulch, Kekaha and West Hawaii landfill sites for Waste Management of Hawaii. Frey will oversee all engineering and landfill improvement projects. Prior to joining Waste Management, he worked as a consulting engineer for five years.
Jesse Whittemore has been promoted to product marketing and sales manager, Tours & Activities for Roberts Hawaii. He will now be responsible for developing an annual marketing plan to increase tours and activities sales through promotions and services, among other duties. Whittemore brings seven years of travel industry and hospitality experience to the company.
