Princeton Gapas has been hired as an inside sales representative for Bella Pietra. Gapas brings more than five years of sales experience to the natural stone company and previously served as a mortgage broker for Harbor Financial Group and an account executive for Lanier Worldwide.

Dr. Wen-yu Lee has been named medical director for St. Francis Hospice. Lee will expand the hospice interdiscipli-nary care team, which develops care plans for pain management and symptom control for terminally ill patients. Lee also serves as a palliative care and pain consultant at Straub Clinic and Hospital.

Dr. Aida Wen has been appointed medical director for the St. Francis Palliative Care program. In this position, Wen will develop the program for patients with serious or advanced illnesses who are not quite ready or eligible for hospice yet could benefit from compassionate care, pain and symptom management, and emotional and spiritual support. Wen also specializes in geriatrics and is board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine.

Hyung Sub Kim has been hired as branch manager for Dongbu Insurance Co., Ltd. Hawaii. He previously served as general manager of product development for the company’s Seoul office in South Korea. As branch manager, Kim now works to develop new products to provide more variety for consumers while continuing to offer insurance services.

Nolan Namba has been named among the board of directors for UHA, formerly known as University Health Alliance. Namba is currently vice principal of Hawaii Baptist Academy, overseeing student services and disciplinary policies, among other duties. He has more than 21 years of marketing and public relations experience, with 16 years in the healthcare industry.

Kimberly Lord has been appointed asset services managing director for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE). Lord joined CBRE in 2001 and was integral in developing a retail specialty group and resort retail services. She will continue her responsibilities as managing director in retail services in Hawaii, leadership of the National Strategic Retail Advisory team and oversight of the Hawaii Retail brokerage.

Doreen Nakamura has been hired as healthcare services nurse administrator for UHA, formerly known as University Health Alliance. Nakamura now is the nursing liaison for the Health Care Services department to facilitate clinical issues and provide case management services and oversight to UHA members.

Wendi Kagawa has been named a financial services associate for Prudential Insurance Company of America. Prior to joining Prudential, Kagawa worked as an intern at Merrill Lynch. She graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a degree in marketing and entrepreneur-ship.
