Robert J. Gallo has been hired as client relations manager for ProService Hawaii. In this new position, he will be responsible for maintaining service excellence with company clients through solidified client partner-ships, issue resolution and service agreement renewals. Gallo was formerly director of sales and marketing at RTK Environmental Group, regional sales manager and national account manager with Waste Management of New York & Connecticut and quality specialist for IBM.

Omar R. Dunlap has been hired as vice president and operations manager of the Transaction Processing Group at Bank of Hawaii. His duties include overseeing the processing of customer transactions under strict deadlines, performing transmissions to the Federal Reserve Bank and ensuring that customer accounts are updated.

Myles Dias has been named business development manager for KilaKila Employer Services. Dias is responsible for generating new accounts and overall sales efforts for the company. He has more than 17 years of business experience in sales and marketing, group health care, labor/union advocacy, and the communications industries. He was most recently a senior account manager at the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.

Dale M. Mau has been promoted to senior vice president and general operations manager for Pacific Wireless Communications. Mau has more than 35 years in technical, sales and management expertise and capability. He will be overseeing the company’s statewide operations of sales, service, infrastructure construction, engineering, managed services and marketing departments.

Dr. Lam Nguyen has been honored as part of the 2009 Ke Kauka Po`okela Outstanding Physicians of the Year by The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC). Nguyen is an attending physician and director of Medical Education - Geriatric Services at The Queen’s Medical Center. The annual award recognizes physicians on the QMC medical staff who have exemplified high-quality care, professional conduct and outstanding contributions to the medical field.

Milan Drager has been named assistant director of food and beverage for Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. In his new position, Drager will assist with the operations for the resort’s many food and beverage outlets, including Bali by the Sea.

Kitty Lagareta, chairman and CEO of Communications Pacific has joined IPREX’s 12-member global executive committee. IPREX is a worldwide corporation of independent public relations firms.

Brian McCormack has been appointed luau manager for Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa’s Waikiki Starlight Luau. McCormack most recently served as assistant banquet manager for the resort and brings more than 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
