Rowell I. Comia has been promoted to vice president and manager of the West Pacific Operations from assistant vice president for Bank of Hawaii. Comia first joined the bank’s West Pacific Operations Group in Guam in 1991, where he served as a data entry operator.

Wilma S. Kanda has been promoted to vice president of the Operations Group Administration from assistant vice president for Bank of Hawaii. In this new position, Kanda will establish and align compliance and risk mitigation process with the overall strategic plan, while also serving as the administrator of the Hawaii Regional ACH Processing Center.

Taera Mulder has been appointed physician assistant for Waikiki Health Center. Mulder will provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative healthcare services, as well as take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests, among other duties. She previously provided care at Iowa Kidney Physicians, P.C.

Rachel Takara has been named registered dietitian for The Lunch Bunch. Takara will oversee and manage all food service, menu planning and nutritional education for the school-lunch provider. The Lunch Bunch focuses primarily on creating nutritionally balanced menus utilizing fresh local products that appeal to the tastes of Hawaii’s keiki.

Genal Perrin has been promoted to senior branch manager for Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union. She will continue to be responsible for the profitability, administration and supervi- sion of the Waikele, Waimalu and Fort Street branches. Perrin also will establish and implement operational, business and service objectives, among other duties.

Peggy Fowler has been appointed to Hawaiian Electric Company’s board of directors. Fowler most recently served as president and CEO of Portland General Electric, where she managed almost every area of the company, including positions in cus- tomer service and more.
